My ex sliced both his nipples off. Before he did that he like piercing them with needles. He said he enjoyed it. He wanted me to try it and I would not. I don’t find these things to be enjoyable or erotic just sick.

I also take medicine for anxiety. Will either of those lower my chance at getting hired for a job at a drugstore? What about later in life when I am going for a different job?

Are they just looking for attention? Do they think it’s “cool”? Honestly, I don’t understand why people go around telling others that they burn or cut themselves. Do these people have even more psychological problems then those who aren’t open about it?

Any books, articles, etc. would be helpful. I’ve looked around in my school’s library, but please let me know if you have any more suggestions.

My friend has some weird scars on her left forearm. They don’t look like scars from a blade but sort of like she’s cut herself with a nail clipper and then dug into them a bit. Is this worse than simple cutting with a knife? Is it more severe? Why doesn’t she cut herself with a knife, why does she do it this way? Thank you so much

I’ve been depressed for nearly three years and I have bipolar disorder. I am seeking help but the medication doesn’t seem to help.

My Aunt has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder for 15 years. She’s always acted a little erratically but recently her behavior has spun out of control. Both her internal medicine doctor and I have discussed this in detail and believe either her meds are wrong or she’s not taking them. The problem is she refuses to see a psychiatrist and get her meds checked because she feels she’s fine. She calls and harrasses people up to 20 times a day (no exaggeration) at all times of the night. My father passed away last year and there’s really no one but me who can help. I am at a loss of how to get her to see the psychiatrist. Anyone been in the same position or can offer some advice?
